In the name fo God no. He upset more players at Forest than McGhee managed in a lifetime.

The caretaker manager at Forest took over with the words 'Anyone could pick this team up now that Gary has left'

True - his time at Forest was disastrous but he inherited a mess left by Kinnear and Hart and couldn't sort it out. Even so, most of the team burning up Div 1 this year is his - Calderwood's added no one.

And he's done great things at other clubs.

He's not perfect but we've got to be realistic. No point saying we'd like Curbishley - of course we would but we all know that's a pipe dream.
