You boys took one hell of a beating

And now for my penultimate moan on about Gilbert-gate.
(The last one will be when he rocks up and wins tomorrow, costing me 80+ points in total)

As I thought, I now can't shift Cancellara in, and had to drop in Mick Rogers and Dave Z, instead.

No beatings handed out tomorrow

I certainly did. 3400th on the stage and dropped 150 places overall. Plus, I can't really fix it until the rest day.

How the hell did you end up with that team, Monfort is your main man.
You do realise you don't get to keep the money you save.

Saved a transfer for tomorrow, so in come Wiggins, Cancellara and Menchov. Already had Rogers so am quite happy with that, may get something from Grivko too.

Todays brilliant quote from wiggo after accusations of doping
Honestly, they're just f***ing wankers. I cannot be dealing with people like that. It justifies their own bone-idleness because they can't ever imagine applying themselves to anything in their lives. And it's easy for them to sit under a pseudo-name on Twitter and write that sort of shit rather than get off their arses in their own life and apply themselves and work hard at something and achieve something. And that's ultimately it. *****!

What a ride from Pinot, so glad he held on, you will never get that kind of drama with two blokes batting a ball around in South West London.

Marc Madriot is a mentalist, though, I've never seen a DS go that crazy before. The bit where he was hugging his colleague nearly brought a tear to my eye.

Well said. So pleased the youngster held on. Anyone of us got him in their team ? And of course his DS is a mentalist...he won Paris-Roubaix twice I hear.

Thanks for the multi quote instructions btw. Don't think I'll need it now though seeing as my Rabobank boy blew up big style. Really poor points day for me today, but it's a new start for tomorrow and I've accounted for it (sort of).

My dilemma is simple - will Chavanel and Dave Z score more points combined than Spartacus ?

I just wish he'd stop beating around the bush.

The report on poor old Sammy Sanchez is not good at all. Collarbone, wrists the lot. Ouch!

My trouble with Dave Z is I'm struggling to find much he's raced in this year beyond California. He let me down badly in the prologue too, although I realise that's a bit different.

And still have Wiggins, Rogers and Tony Martin in too

I take that back, I thought it sounded too good to be true

Which now begs the question - Martin or Cancellara ?

I'm tempted by Martin. He would have won the prologue had it not been for that mechanical, and his recent results are slightly better. However, Cancellara seems to be riding well in this Tour so far.

He's a 7.9 dom.
I doubt anyone 7.9 or below will be above him on the day.

I'd be surprised if he's not top 20, but the way Garmin are going, he'll probably fall off the side of the ramp.

Well there's certainly one dom cheaper than him who I'd fancy to be finishing just as high.

Who?
Or at least clue him.

I'm not having you being 'right' AFTER the event.

I thought he was well known. Pantani knows him certainly.

Note to self: stop discussing transfers with rivals before the transfer deadline is over
