The number of stewards at the AMEX

This is not a moan, just an observation, but when they were chosing the numbers of stewards needed did they look at what was required and then triple it or something?

Seems to be a huge amount standing around doing nothing or saying hello. And how many people do you really need to point you in the right direction within the space of 20 yards?

Hope they are tasked a bit more with crowd control after the game at the South End tonight.

Can't say I have noticed. There is one at the top of the steps onto the terrace, one right at the back (how seems to changes places regularily with a couple of others) and a couple right at the front.
