Something the BBC at least haven’t really emphasised is the SNP implosion. They’re losing seats to Labour left, right and centre - getting an absolute shellacking and only on 4(!) seats.
I wonder why that is. Why is there less appetite for Scottish nationalism?

How come there are parts of urban West Midlands which are so staunchly Conservative? Places like Solihull and Sutton Coldfield will always go blue.

This is a dynamic you dont see in even the leafiest parts of Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds or Glasgow.

Genuinely, we fell for media hype over the last fortnight. Starting with just 65 seats, LibDems the official opposition, quite possibly the end of the 200 year old Tory party.

Where are you getting this 65 seat number from that you keep quoting as I haven't seen it anywhere

(Except for your posts, obviously )

I think they’ve been hugely unpopular in government basically, simple as that
Agreed, but that's a relatively recent phenomenon. Think Sturgeon knew what was coming when she stepped down and that, combined with 17 years in power, was always going to turn against them. Also, indyref2 has gone quiet and, probably more importantly, public services have collapsed, cost of living has been biting, etc, and all of that favours Labour.
