The North Stand Chat pool and table football championship will take place at a so far undisclosed location (probably the Smugglers, date yet to be arranged) I reckon a couple of quid entry fee with half the takings going to the winners and half to costs and the 'alive and kicking' fund.

Crabbers, I'll double up with you in the doubles championship if you want, it seems like you know what your doing. For your information, the "no spinning" comment was what clinched it for you to play with the master. Will kick your arse in the singles though. I am yet to meet a player of the same pedigree as myself.

Don't they have a bar billiards table there as well? Shit, Brian we could have a COMPENDIUM of fund-raising bar games. It will be just like 'The Indoor League' (great pub-sports programme with tragic hairdos and even more tragic tank tops from the 1970s). We should also have a darts competition, shove ha'penny, arm wrestling, skittles, Southern Beauty All-In Mud Wrestling - the lot. I'll see if we can get 'Fiery' Fred Trueman to host it.
