As already stated, the correct answer is Frankie Howard.

Played for years as a brilliant winger. Finished playing with sod all savings as was the lot of a footballer in those days.

Stayed on at the club first helping the groundstaff, until eventially becoming head groundsman. Held that post for a few decades, before being unceremoniously kicked out by Bellotti with no warning or pay off.
