That is a very bold move akin from moving to Celtic from Rangers - brave man, however Galatasaray seemed very keen to sign him.

Good God - going from Fenerbahce to their most hated rivals
Like someone going from Palace to the Albion or Celtic to Rangers
Should be a few feathers flying at the next derby match

It doesn't sound like he was overwhelmed with alternative offers, so I guess if it's a case of no football or football with your ex employer's main rivals, you'd choose the latter. Besides, recalling some of Colin's brilliant PR moments in the past, he's probably already told the Turkish press how shit Fenerbahce are...

The Albion to Palace, whatever we think about them, is hardly the same as going from Rangers to Celtic, or Real Madrid to Barcelona, is it? :lolol:

Besides, it's not as though he chose to walk out, it sounds like Fenerbahce effectively binned him, which suggests he wasn't doing much on the pitch.

LA...wishing it was devon..
he was touting himself around on soccer am last sat. he wanted to play back over here...obv no one wanted his superb services and positive attitude in the dressing room. made me think who i disliked the most, him or leon. on balance, leon for THAT goal!

Knight was worse, as has been proved by his subsequent string of failures, but Kazim-Richards never did himself any favours.

To be honest its quite common... quite a few players have moved between teh Istanbul big three: Emre Belozoglu, Rustu Recber being two of the most notable.
