.. is now such that if a 16+ year-old bonks their under-sixteen girl/boyfriend and under-age sex charges are succesfully made (for whatever reason) the 16+ year-old WILL go on the SEX OFFENDERS REGISTER !!

The point was made more at the many 16 or 17 year old boys that are going out with 14 or 15 year old girls - if the 15 year old girl successfully presses changes that she got shagged, the 16 year old goes on the sex offender register.

I wasn't trying to defend it in any way nor compare a 50 year old on a 10 year old - Glitter style.

I was just trying to point out that it might seam a bit harsh to some - esp. some of the junior NSC peeps.
