I have listened to the new album a couple of times but can't get into it.

Stark contrast to the first, which I loved the first time I played it.

I bought that and the kooks at the same time, which has taken over my cd player for the time being. The killers take a while to get into, but after that I lurve them. im looking forward to being like that with the new album. when i play it. eventually. if ever.

It's a GROWER, and I think it'll turn out to be EXCELLENT.

Edit: What you have to remember is that artists have their whole life to write their first album and possibly a matter of months to pen subsquent releases. It's always going to be difficult to live up to SUCH a good debut.
