Band Aid for me as it was probably one of the greatest ever contributions by the the music industry to try and resolve what was an horrifc situation.
As much as people tried to slag them off Geldoff, Midge Ure, Bono and Bowie to name but a cast of thousands of musicians world wide really did make a very worthy contribution to try to resolve the issues of Africa and also put several world wide governments to shame in the process.
Band Aid was the start of this fantastic achievement.
