well I was just about to, The first 'grown up' film I saw. I was about 8, it was the talk of the playground, everyone saw it, we only had 3 channels in them days so you had to watch 'That's Life' as well. (remember that? Esther Rancid would tell a sad tale of a six year old that died walking into a plate glass window then Ivor Biggun would show you a carrot shaped like a cock)

dug this one up simply because we watched "the color purple" the other night on DVD and I had forgotten just how good it was so this film can now be added to "Schindlers list" and "close encounters" as 3 of my best ........but it is only 3 of many and not all Speilbergs films
