Leeds clear penalty missed. Hate both of these teams, so hoping they kick lumps out of each other

(Awaits pile on  ) I’ve never hated these two clubs. From the south Stains hold that mantle for me, plus when I was very young Leeds had a load of incredibly good footballers. I realise there are vile supporters at both, but that’s the case also with Millwall, Burnley, Manure, Cardiff, Stoke, WBA etc.

I've never hated Leeds owing to the fact my uncle supports them, and he's a decent chap.

Portsmouth on the other hand are absolute twunts. By the way, not really sure why WBA are lumped in with that lot?

Lived in West Yorkshire for almost ten years and went to practically every local away day, Bradford, Huddersfield, Leeds, Barnsley and beyond.

Leeds fans were consistently the most homophobic and Neanderthal of the bunch. Up there with Millwall, Portsmouth and Chelsea.

I’m at the game as it’s only 40 mins from Bognor, on street parking near the ground, £24 ticket, and not too bothered about the result.
A nice day out in the sunshine.
Both sets of fans include plenty of knuckle draggers and surprisingly there was no tension outside as both sets of fans were wandering around outside the ground beforehand.
I’m hoping for a Pompey win as I’m happy to have Championship football up the road, plus I want to see Red Bull Leeds stay down.

Must be exciting as you're on NSC during the game.
Just checked, it was half time. Did they have a band on, someone like Lady Ga Ga maybe?

Maybe, but they're certainly having a bit of a wobble, which is nice.
Their run in is pretty comfortable. And Burnley still have to play Blunts. Leeds need to go to bed earlier before the midday kick offs.

There's Matt Taylor as part of the punditry.

I remember those rumours about Will Young. Blimey, was it really over 20 years ago? Where's the time gone?

Pompey v Leeds live on ITV1 just now.

This fixture would’ve meant a big police operation in the 70’s and 80’s. Not so much now?
I'm sure there'll be a few 'afters' at Fratton train station. The 657 Crew would love another pop at Leeds. There's a lot of history between the two clubs.

How can you have no dislike of #twats Pompey?
When did you start watching the Albion ?
From previous comments I figured we were of a similar vintage
So these comments I find strange
Edna who I'm pretty-sure is younger than me certainly hates em

Jan 76, when at primary school. I’m pretty much unique on NSC for a male with @Harry Wilson's tackle that somehow I never got involved in any shape or form with football aggro. I did see many times huge Albion hordes chasing and attacking away supporters around Hove Station/Conway Street.

I’ve a new client (through a family connection) who’s lifelong Pompey. Funny enough we were discussing this last week, we ‘reminisced’ about dirty Pompey, Brum and Leeds teams in the 80’s, he said the Pompey v Leeds games and weekends topped the scale.
