General Knowledge 4 - Brookwood
British History 1 - HMS Vanguard
Geography 1 - 10
Geography 2 - Paramaribo
Geography 4 - Ushuaia

BH1 - HMS Vanguard?
BH2 - Definitely the Great War as others have said but, depending on when the book was actually written/published in 1937, it may have been George VI's royal title. His coronation was that year so he may still have been known as the DDDDDuuuuuuuuke of YYYYYorrrrrrrk.
BH4 - If the Q's about the Great Death (bubonic plague) then it'd be 1347/8 and Edward III.

Geog4 - My chance to step into the Granny Weatherwax/DtG 2011 holiday spotlight for the next two answers.
Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina; Chile has a habitation, about the size of Broadbridge Heath, called Puerto Williams that's further south; they call it a "city" just to annoy the Argentinians.

Film1 - The book "African Queen" was written by CS Forrester of "Hornblower" fame, british actor was Robert Morley. Watched it on the flight back from Santiago - Katherine Hepburn was a looker in her time.
Cut lights now please.
