The Big decision. Fifa or Pro Evo.

Their neck and neck, the new Pro Evo looks amazing, the gameplay should be emmense. Fifa however (not only have stripes) but you can play it online an interact with other players etc.

It is going to be a close call, both amazing football games.

Just as long as you buy Football Manager for the PC and DONT waste your money on championship manage, I'll understand!

Its a close call for someone like me who does'nt fall into the "PES is the best game EVER!" trap! Although syaing that I have played Fifa 2004 I think it was and thought it was pants! PES3 is very good but has amazingly annoying niggles so hoping PES4 is better.

I say hire out both and then make a decision!

As for FM & Champ Man, FM winning so far but will try CM 5 demo if they ever release one.

Fair enough.

But Ive played the latest FM patch. Absolutly amazing. No way any football sim could match it.

have they got smaller player blobs? way too big in the beta demo!

I can see FM winning that battle but I still wanna see what CM 5 will be like....just incase!

I was 1st to the shops to get Fifa 2004, what a terrible mistake that was... Pro Evolution is the way forward for me

Burnout 3 collected yesterday. Pro Evo 4 on Friday. I don't think I'll be going out much this month!

(Apart from hosting Beatdown at the Event II on Wednesday!)

The problem with the FIFA games is that you only seem to score spectacular goals in it. Real footy just ain't like that.

Never played PES myself but it does appear that the general concensus has always been it is the better game, as long as you put up with made up player names. :nono:

Not that hard to change, there will be an update from www.pesfan.com on friday with all the correct names/kit changes etc etc etc

^^^ But Totenham is still North East London etc

I can cope with that I reckon, as long as you can edit the team names and stuff.

I'd rather have a game with superb playability and realism, but flawed team names, than a game where this was the other way round.
