On the subject of Modern Romance, if a few more people other than me had bought this other truly great song, Geoff Deane might not have disbanded The (Leyton) Buzzards and opted for such a radical change in musucal direction... Sadly MR weren't one-hit wonders, but their predecessors were:

I assume you are in Holland, yup, they are big time there. I lived there back in the late 70s early 80s, and that's when I got into them.

But for the UK, they should class as a One Hit Wonder, and the very best of them.
