he won it in 1989 i believe in the worst rain you have seen at a meeting, he started on pole and George Polley (who won it in '88) was near the back, within 10 - 15 laps George was 2nd, but spent the remainder 60 odd laps behind him, that day there was only one racing line due to the river on the track, i have this on video

Honourable mention for the JPS, that oozes class.

As for the Marcos picture, I saw an LM500 at The Motor Show, one year, around the time of the reinvention of Batman (Keaton/Nicolson).
Anywhohow, it was all silver/crome and looked the dogs. It's the only car I have a 'need' for, as I have needed it for over 20 years.

iconic, but relatively common . . . still, very successful in the right hands . . Lotus

yep I was there for both (see post below for greatest pic ever!), 88 was my first World Final and the last was in 93 or 94, who was the young lad in the Union Jack car that won it one year? that livery was amazing!

Must get to Arlington alot more this year too!
