Best - Albion getting a 1-1 draw at Hereford.

Worst - Bill Archer being invited to join the board at the Albion.

But seriously:

Best - Almost complete eradication of violence associated with Football.

Worst - The disasters at Heysel and Hillsborough, both of which led indirectly to what I count as being the best.

Oh so you don't like watching footy on tv every nite of the week, are you an Eastenders or Coronation Street fan?

I don't have Sky. If I did I would not want to watch football ever night of the week either. Football should be at 3:00pm on a Saturday.

It's also quite amusing that you think if I'm not watching the football I MUST be watching another channel. There are other things to do than watch TV you know.

Like;

Make beer
listen to music
Read a book
talk to the wife...

I was thinking more along the lines of football in general as opposed to specific things that have happend to any one club. Great though they might be! :)

Best - New stadiums (not a dig at BHA, Selhurst is fairly decrepit).

Worst - Polarisation of the top flight because of TV money, likes of us cannot compete with the wealthy.

Not Luton! Thank God
Best - All seater stadiums - turned attending football macthes from something for 18-40 year olds to something for the whole family

Worst - Football clubs floating on the stock market - initial money but always destined to end in tears

I think Sky TV is the best AND worst thing to happen to English football. It undoubtedly has opened up football to a new market, trouble is is that while a minority of clubs have benefitted handsomely, the game as a whole has not.

I repeat. Best and Worse things to happen to football as in the game itself not what a great day out it was at Cardiff. This has not affected the game itself.

Sky TV, all seater stadiums, hooliganism etc all HAVE.

Worst - the Premiership, and all the dollar-driven whores who sail in her.

Best - Any good news that comes from any club not connected to the Premiership: Albion competing with no money, Doncaster's return to the league, watching MK Dons plummet, etc.

Albion and Premier League latest from Sky Sports
