Loads of snow here. Schools in the area closed, including mine. No cars on the roads when I took the dog out first thing. It’s going to be a lovely day !

I would say yes. Parts of the M62 from Manchester were closed last night. Temperatures are due to rise this afternoon though so maybe it will clear.

Think the issue will be ice.

No more snow forecast, but it will start to melt today a bit, but then forecast to get down to -5/-6 C overnight, then up to +2 C for the match.

Can imagine roads and rail will be icy tomorrow, not sure if I will be able to get there from Sheffield, fingers crossed though...

I read you have had a lot of snow in Sheffield so just getting out could be tricky.

Yep, we received the full 30+ cm as forecasted, I certainly would really struggle to get to Leeds today.

It is sunny now though, and starting to melt.

The videos and photos from Sheffield this morning have been staggering; over a foot of snow in places. Looks beautiful, but not great for tomorrow.

Trains and buses seem to be working surprisingly well here today.

My brother in law (Leeds STH) doesn't recall them ever postponing due to snow, and the Leeds Rhinos game at Headingley is on tonight.
