Why is it snowing? It's supposed to be too mild to snow!

Has the weather got it wrong, is Brighton set for an evening of heavy SNOW rather than rain??

It started as too mild, but the temps and DP have been falling rapidly. The fact that the precipitation rate is high helps.

So, in your opinion, would you suggest a SNOWFEST in Brighton tonight?

Please say yes.

Not sure, I'd think at some point it will possibly turn back to rain, but IF temps continue to drop, who knows?

I'm busy at work, and don't have time to check the detailed forecasts for the next few hours.

If it carries on, it would seem it will settle at the current intensity.

Cars now have a layer of snow on them and the carpark is developing a thin layer. Would take another few hours of the same amount of snow for it to really cause an issue again

Heaviest snow of the winter so far, shame it won't last! Roads covered again, and the snow is getting a nice top up!

Traffic into Brighton is a nightmare. Currently stuck in a huge jam on Clayton Hill trying to get onto a23.
