Drove from the pier to upper beeding. Heavier in Brighton if anything. Beach covered in snow and still snowing.

Heavy now in Willingdon. Flakes getting bigger.

The bigger flakes indicate that the temperature is rising. Smaller flakes mean that it is colder. The two biggest factors that determine the size and shape of snowflakes (or ice crystals) are variations in temperature and moisture content of the region where the snow flakes form.
