The Argus is a paper you read the back pages of in WHSmiths before placing it over the Daily Mails so that all the little Englanders can't find their vile rag.

It is the duty of all of us to place copies of The Argus over the Daily Mail (and the Express for that matter) in WHSmith to prevent the suicides that will inevitably occur when some readers become so depressed that there is only one course of action left to them.

:tantrum: :shootself

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
It was in the article about the giant flag.

Are we going to do a new one? A lighter version that will not be so difficult to transport and perhaps won't need cleaning that often? Surely the club can store it for us..?

The Metropolis
According to Facebook, Villa Park will be swamped by MILLIONS of Albion fans. The limit on tickets will be as nothing since the Blue & White Striped Army will emerge, like rats from every available drainpipe. At all ends of the ground. Smaller supporters will sit on Poyet's shoulder squawking like malign parrots....

But then the Argus quoted me as a "creator" of the Giant Flag. Which is just as insensible a statement.
PS. The Giant Flag was NOT commissioned in memory of Robert Eaton. It was commissioned as a Giant Big Flag but arrived shortly after 9/11 and was thus dedicated to Rob. I did point this out.
PPS. If the Supporters Club are so keen on the idea of a replacement, here's hoping they'll take full responsibility for dragging it round the country on their coaches and, more importantly, taking it back again and making sure it is stored properly!
