A performance that spoke volumes about what's wrong with the Albion at the moment.

1) Adams is manager
2) The midfield is shit
3) Adams the manager is unable to see that the midfield is shit.

Tommy Fraser and Adam El-abd? As a midfield duo, the two were SHAMBOLIC. Pissed on by the opposition.

Whing left back? RIDICULOUS decision, and with a centre half playing right-back meant Sullivan had NO options at all.

Cox, the only midfield who tries to cross a ball (although usually fails to beat first man) on the bench? Joke. Fatty McLard was shit. Again. Fat scouse wanker. What's the point on him?

I am LIVID at that display, we had 3 shots in 90 minutes. It could have been 5 nil. Pathetic. Piss poor. No answers from the management, no hints of creativity.

Micky - do the decent thing and resign, please.

we were f***ing shit, why the hell el abd didnt tackle delph, or even try too, f***ing useless

This is quite a common thing this season, player gets the ball in his half, runs the length of the pitch , no one tackles him just runs with him ,he gets inside the box ,Bang goal , why do our players at least hold him up ?

Sadly WW, you named the two best and most passionate Brighton players on the pitch!

Our defence was beaten as easily as Leeds wanted to beat them, and in attack we posed absolutely NO THREAT!

yer, the midfielders with the most interest were shit, riiiight. :tosser:

NO NO NO! You IDIOT.

EFFORT doesn't get you very far. GOOD PLAYERS DO!!

Fraser and El-Abd in midfield at this level are NOT good enough!!!

Tbh, I only care about how Micky feels about the game, because at the end of the day, no matter what anyone thinks, he is still the manager, he picks the team. You just have to put up with it or f*** off.

What a load of bollocks as usual. How do you explain giant killings then? The minnows cannot compete with more skillfull and talented players of top teams.
You win by effort,commitment etc.

what an absolute load of drivil you are spouting
Fraser and El-Abd did really well in midfield, they got tackles in, had some good interlink play etc, etc.. and were as good as or better than most of the other midfield pairings we have tried this season.

Some people will never be happy as they are youth product players, not players we brought or got in on loan, if they were, undoubtably you'd be saying how good they were and we should sign them up.

If we were midtable and the negative ninnies on here were to comment on todays match AND HOW WE PLAYED, then they would be saying it was a fairly good performance, and we were undone by a swift conter attack and a good bit of skill.

And we did create alot more chances than just one, so just more boring negative spin :yawn:

Cup matches are a different ball game though aren't they? They are one off fixtures with no pressure for the smaller team. This pressure can have a negative effect on the bigger club. That coupled with commitment and effort from the smaller clubs can bring about a giant killing.

However, you cannot rely on 46 "giant killing" performances in a season. Effort and commitment whilst being very commendable will not be enough to keep our present team in this division. Pure and simple, we need to sign some better players before the end of the transfer window or we will be staring relegation in the face come the end of April.
