That James May Programme on BBC 2

Have Sky+'d it, so have not seen it yet but I do like this sort of program - in fact anything to do with space or astronomy fascinates me.

Personally these I much prefer watching May, Hammond and even Clarkson doing these sorts of documentary programs rather than Top Gear. I reckon I am in the minorty, but I find Top Gear completely fake and scripted now - they found a formula that people quite liked, so they just keep repeating it. Clarkson has made a TV persona for himself as being a boreish loudmouth and it is now very tiresome (and fake). However, his program a couple of years back about VC winners was superb.

The James May flight in the U2 aircraft was great stuff. Turned over to BBC4 and watched the more detailed one as well. This is what TV should be about, not Big Brother and other reality rubbish.
