Thameslink or Victoria?

Can someone please tell me is Wood Green (on the Piccadilly line) not the nearest tube station? On my London map it looks only about half a mile from the ground and a lot nearer than Seven Sisters.

I think one year we drank around Highbury and Islington and then jumped on the tube to Seven Sisters and caught the over land from there.

Also there were some good pubs on Upper Street around Highbury and Islington.

There sure are some decent pubs on Upper street. Ask Virgirlo which ones are best as she lives fairly close to there.

there are some great bars and pubs around upper street. not exactly footbally, too many arsenal fans!!!
but very close to the station and seven sisters is a 5 min tube ride! can't wait!!

It takes a good 30-40 minutes to walk from Wood Green to WHL making it further than Seven Sisters. Although, if you go the Lordship Lane route you do get a good view of the famous Broadwater Farm estate en route.

Go to Victoria, take the Victoria line to Seven Sisters, walk 20 mins to the ground.

Seven Sisters Station (Victoria Line), is within 20 mins walking distance or change on to WAGN line to White Hart Lane station. Alternatively change on to Bus Routes 149, 259 or 279, that operate directly to the Stadium, every 12 minutes (Mon-Sat daytime frequency).
Tottenham Hale Station (Victoria Line), is within 20 mins walking distance, or take a taxi from the taxi rank.


WAGN (over ground railway)
White Hart Lane Station (approximately 5 minutes walk). 'All Stations' services from Liverpool Street to Enfield Town and Cheshunt/Hertford East. (Providing a combined 15-minute frequency).
Northumberland Park Station (approximately 10 minutes walk). 'Main Line' services from Liverpool Street to Cheshunt/Broxbourne/Cambridge/Bishops Stortford/Stansted Airport and Hertford East (peaks only).
