I do hope the club isnt pushing Mcnulty back in to fitness too early, could do more damage in the long run? :nono:

Dickinson and Murray are unlikely to start together as they're basically the same sort of player, I think we'll see the same XI who started against Scunthorpe.

Thornhill is injured. Might make the bench ahead of McNulty but I doubt it.

You have to like our chances this season. Will take time to get to know each others names but our depth is impressive. We'd be gutted if Nicky F was injured last year.....now it hardly gets a mention.

Our reserve team was last years first team.

If we're playing with 1 up-front then I'd like to see this..

Kuipers

Whing---Elphick---Virgo---J. Wright

Dicker------Navarro

M. Wright----Thornhill-----Cox

Dickinson

With Thornhill playing in-front of the two holding midfielders, and Wright & Cox pushing up in support of Dickinson.

But I expect Crofts to start, with Thornhill on the bench.

Kuipers (G Smith)
Whing (Cook)
Elphick (El Abd)
Virgo (Tunnicliffe)
J Wright (McNulty)
M Wright (Hart)
Thornhill (Crofts)
Dicker (Navarro)
Cox (J Smith/McLeod)
Murray (Forster)
Dickinson (Davies)

I would imagine that we will play 4-4-2 at home, although the most exciting football I have seen the Albion play was with 4-5-1 (that did have Zamora up front though). The team looks pretty good for me but what really impresses is the alternatives (which I put in brackets). We have got great strength in depth this year for once.

Tough one best performance in pre season was with one up top but will Slade play that way at home?
I'll go for

M. Wright - Navarro - Dicker - Cox

Murray - Dickinson

Subs: G. Smith - El-Abd - McNulty - Crofts - J. Smith - Forster - Davies (think its 7 subs??)
