call me old fashioned but I like a strong sensible presence at the back: I would still put big Guy alongside Elphick
I would start:
Kuipers
Elphick
Butters
Lynch
Richards
Bowditch
El Abd
Thomson
Cox
Forster
Murray
Subs:
O Sullivan
Robinson
Whing
Fraser
Dixon (Meridian News said he is expected to make his debut tomorrow)
Can't understand why nobody is putting Martot in the team, Wilkins obviously favours him but he's bound to be in the squad.
Because Robinson and Bowditch are both better than him
I think we should definitely have Whing at right back and Elphick in the middle, as both have performed well this season.
In the supporters eyes yes, but in Dean Wilkins eyes no. If I were to pick the team then I wouldn't have him in the squad but DW believes he offers to the team and is therefore always selected. Robinson will probably miss out.
Kuipers (due to lack of competition)
Whing and Richards (regardless of current form our best two full-backs)
Elphick and Butters (no Lynch - he's too vulnerable)
Cox and Bowditch wide (they've got to come good soon given their obvious talent)
Thomson and Fraser (in the absence of anyone better)
Murray and Forster (best two players at the club)
Robinson, Martot, ElAbd, Hart and Dixon
