call me old fashioned but I like a strong sensible presence at the back: I would still put big Guy alongside Elphick

Can't understand why nobody is putting Martot in the team, Wilkins obviously favours him but he's bound to be in the squad.

I think we should definitely have Whing at right back and Elphick in the middle, as both have performed well this season.

Because Robinson and Bowditch are both better than him

In the supporters eyes yes, but in Dean Wilkins eyes no. If I were to pick the team then I wouldn't have him in the squad but DW believes he offers to the team and is therefore always selected. Robinson will probably miss out.

I do not know where you get that from because Whing has got progressivly worse since signing for us permenantly, culminating in an attrocious display against Cheltenham on Tuesday.

Elphick can play at right back and I think it would shake Whing up if he was dropped for this match.

Wilkins 11: Kuipers, Whing, Elphick, Butters, Richards, Martot, El-Abd, Thomson, Cox, Murray, Forster.

Land of the Chavs
Kuipers (due to lack of competition)

Whing and Richards (regardless of current form our best two full-backs)
Elphick and Butters (no Lynch - he's too vulnerable)

Cox and Bowditch wide (they've got to come good soon given their obvious talent)
Thomson and Fraser (in the absence of anyone better)

Murray and Forster (best two players at the club)

Robinson, Martot, ElAbd, Hart and Dixon

That's dumb of me. Sullivan instead of Hart.

It's worth noting that I would put Martot in the team ahead of Robinson, but as a substitute I think Robinson has been at his most effective, whereas I don't think Martot can really change a game.

I'm also torn between El-Abd and Fraser, but the fact that Fraser probably isn't fully fit coupled with the fact that he proved on Tuesday he is capable of coming on and changing the game made me favour him on the bench.
