As I said in another thread

If it was me the team would be (but its not me so who am I to tell lord Gus) but if he rang me and asked I would say:

Ankers

Tanno
Greer
Dunk
Vincelot

Noone
Spaz
Nav
Vicente

Hoskins
Barnes

Subs

Bridders
Buckley
Calde
Brez
Lua Lua
CMS
Harley

Think you are allowed 7 in this compo.

But NO ONE really knows apart from Gus/Tanno and the players.

I have a very funny feeling that we may well see an appearance from one Jake Caskey this Wednesday, have heard today that he was training in the first team squad. Would be interesting.

Good shout. Why not for a game that doesnt really matter overall.

Just the one asterisk for pre-match.

I think the best he could hope for is a place on the bench as there are many other midfield players in front of him I would suspect, most coming back from injury or needing match practice.

Gus surely will rotate for Liverpool and Leeds. Leeds more important by far.

Can’t see Brezovan starting against Liverpool. My guess would be that Vicente will come on for debut depending on what’s going on.

Ankergen
Calderon Dunk Greer Vincelot

Buckley Sparrow Navarro Lua Lua

Hoskins CMS

Bench:

Brezovan
Cook
Noone
Vicente
Barnes
Dicker
Bridcutt

Should Gus play his second string against Liverpool..........
Would you play a weakened team v Liverpool?
Liverpool team dilema
Liverpool Leeds within 48 hours?
Does Gus need to be honest re the team v Liverpool

I think we will definitely see some changes other tan the obligatory painter one). Our last couple of matches haven't seen us click, we got the win v bristol after bringing some subs on, then wet back to the same starting line up v leicester and struggled, but I won't resume to guess.

I'm not entirley sure he will rest CMS - even though he looks like he could do with it. I also don't think it will look good for the assistant manager to start ahead of the younger pros in a big glamour game so....

Ankergren
Vincelot Dunk Greer Calderon

Bridcutt

Buckley Sparrow Noone

Hoskins CMS

Subs:
Barnes
Vicente
Tanno
Navarro
LuaLua
Cook
Brezovan

Fair point about Tanno.

Think that team is just slightly too attacking though and needs a bit more cover centre mid

Right here, right now
My team would be a rather unorthodox 3-5-3-0 formation as follows:

Brezovan Ankergren Poke

Calderon Dunk Cook Greer Tarrico

Bridcutt Vincelot Navarro

Might work?

Lualua will start for sure, he needs a game and pace is the one thing that could possibly see us springing a surprise. Try and keep it as tight as possible and see if Lualua can scare them to death and in the meantime win his staring place back. Im sure Gus is dying to start picking Lualua but Noone's form has made it impossible for him. Much like last season when Greer could not get a game untill Elphick gave away the penalty against Bournemouth, which I thought was harsh on Elphick at the time but you can see why Gus was keen to get Greer in the starting line up.

I tend to agree with you which is why he will start against Leeds. I think he is the only player that would really cause Liverpool any trouble. But he has to receive the ball.

I somehow missed tanno and Vicente out of mine, both of whom I expect to feature. Tough isn't it! One thing is for sure, we could have done with another striker this week
