Was listening and thought exactly the same! Nothing what so ever about the Championship! Absolute joke, they spend so much time asking people to call and advertising that they never actually talk about their morning topics..unless you're the Premiership. Brazil never played in the lower leagues so he's got no passion for it

Ugh ... I hate Five Live. Endless RP-speaking clones trying to be uncontroversial ... although having said that, Talksport often go too far the other way and desperately try to be controversial for the sake of it, which can be painful. Bits and pieces of the latter suffice.

I used to like Talk Sport but it gets on my wick now, if anyone phones in with a different opinion to the presenter they just get shouted down and not given the chance to put their point across.

I expect the fact there was no actual discussion about the Championship refelcts the poor quality of that radio programme. All they do on Talksport is rant, rant, rant. There's no real analysis or intelligent comment. No wonder no-one called. It's not very good.

No I was in the car. And there wasn't much point was there!

I did quite like Talksport but now it just pisses me off, most presenters interrupt the callers or make cheap shots to try and discredit valid points.

Five Live or the CD player now.

At best it's complete and utter turgid nonsense.

I only listen to it when James Whale and Ian Collins is on now and again.

I also used to be a big fan of TalkSport but am becoming disillusioned with the station.

The biggest problem for me is how every phone-in show is deliberately provocative, and how the presenters are too opinionated. What's wrong with having a balanced phone-in with impartial, broad-minded and knowledgable presenters?

What I really find a turn-off is the excess of ex-pros who keep on defending the likes of Savage, Dyer, Bellamy etc. Football is full of kunts who are overpaid and who underperform and the Ray Houghtons of this world haven't got a scooby...

Have to agree, the only time I listen to Talksport is for James Whale at 10pm as Im getting into bed!!
