Tensions are running quite high, maybe leave the WUM stuff at the door?

I think it's probably a par score. If England can get off to a good start it'll allow them to negotiate India's spinners in the middle overs. All to play for. Game on!
No wind up, you did see us chase against a limited Sri Lanka attack?? I think it was a superb comeback fromIndia helped by some braindead bowling. All about opinions.

Lovely listening to Indian commentator getting quieter and quieter.

This game following a similar pattern to yesterday's. Side batting first kept in check most of their innings before posting a defendable-but-below-par score. Side batting second getting off to a flier and making the target look way below par.

The thing is with 20/20, what with the ball and the wickets you don’t have a lot going for you as a bowling side especially with an average total to defend with shortish boundaries

Ravi Bopara on the BBC site is spot on:

"India just made up for the runs that they missed at the start of their innings. That is not how T20 cricket is played now, it has moved on."

It's all very well watching Hardik brilliantly contrive 50 from 28 balls or whatever, but India played 50 over cricket for 10 overs.

Tactical injury break for India. Smug Eddie has been coaching them
