My PC is running slow. It is not due to download speed since running a test shows that I am getting about 7mb.

However the clock is running slow and applications that run in real time are running slow. Anyone got any ideas?

have you got a knot in the mains cable?

Not a knot as such but it is all pilled up. Would that make a difference then?

Done all that last night. No need for a defrag and no spyware in sight.

Sounds like spyware or a virus or something. It's perfectly possible to have something that spyware/virus checkers can't see. Have a talk to these people. They're really good.
