Genuine question here: how did you honestly think this season was going to go, back in August?
I only ask because I did think last season that it was something of a surprise to find Swindon near the top, and I wasn't convinced it would be more than a flash in the pan. I did think you got on a roll and somehow kept it going, confidence breeding confidence. But many teams struggle the season after losing in a play off final. That, combined with the sales of Greer and Paynter (now Paynter was GREAT business for you, as you made money out of the only really good season he's ever had in his entire career), made me fairly certain you'd be mid table at best.
Just curious as to what the view was from the perspective of a STFC supporter.
