think they must have stopped for a while...

bad news if we can't make a breakthrough soon in these conditions :nono:

Needed that, a bit of afternoon magic from Mushy (once his hands warm up) and we're right back in it. All the papers seem to suggest it's a results pitch.

180/3

Knight c Adams b Martin-Jenkins 73

Mushy getting into his stride hopefully... but with Streak at 9 (Test Match ton...) and another century maker at 10 :)O) we're going to need a bit of his magic...

looking decidedly grim... hopefully its actually a flat pitch and our batsmen will be able to do it back to them and secure a solid draw

edit: and Yards comes into the attack... maybe a reply count on Nelson will do the trick - can we leave it there for a while? :)

Hmmm 246/3 at tea.

It's looking to be a tough ask over the next 7 sessions of cricket. Draw looking like the best we can ask for. They've still got Troughton, Powell, Brown, Streak AND Carter to come. They've got to be looking at 500 from here.

Warwickshire have a pretty handy all-round team. Not only can Troughton and Bell bat but they were both pretty handy as Dr. Who as well.

Since we're combining cricket and sci-fi I wish Sussex had a bit more Star Trek about them, a few Klingons in the slips wouldn't go amiss...
