Mahmood is very ordinary (imo), Cork is wiley and dangerous atr county level, Chapple is not as good as he's being made to look by us, Smith isn't causing us too many problems but we can't score off him and Keedy is nothing more than alright. This is a below par batting performance even by our standards.

Our batting has been pathetic all season - perhaps it would have made more sense to bring in a batsman - Kirtley, Wright, Mushy, Lewry and Martin-Jenkins are all perfectly adequate with the ball, but our batting is weak.
