It’s sad to see us so uncompetitive.
Surrey could chase down 270
Their players are miles better.

I'm going, looks dry

You’ll have a pick of seats. This is the disappointing part there’s absolutely no reason to travel from where I live to watch a side that the management couldn’t be bothered to make competitive in any form of cricket. Such a shame from recent times. No sell out games anytime soon.

Shortsighted and so sad to witness the demise of good team

Game over now effectively, they can do this just working ones and twos or, finish it in two overs.

Why are Sussex so bad in the blast?

You could always rely on the being decent in this form, even as a smaller county could attract and keep hold of some decent players.

Made sense to focus on this form as it is where the money is

When is Rashid turning up? He normally wins us a few games single handedly.

A combination of reasons

1 biggest factor is Our best players have left - salt, Jordan, Evans, Briggs, topley, weise etc
2 Luke Wright used to paper over cracks but is now long past his best
3 the club has backed players who have proved to be overrated - mills, Rawlins, garton
4 for various reasons our overseas recruitment has been haphazard . mcKoy not an elite player.
5 Injuries - Archer, Robinson
6 Other teams have strengthened (Surrey’s team last night was outrageously strong)

Worth remembering We are not actually that bad atm . We’ve won a few games.

Can’t argue with any of that, but we’ll have some shiny new apartments to sell soon.

In the few summers before covid Sussex were quite good at Blast but ended up with lots of draws due to matches being rained off.

Got tickets for tomorrow night...my first T20 for about 5 years.
Looking forward to it, even though its been a frustrating season so far for Sussex, but will make sure Jnr takes his kit just in case they are as poor as last night....:D

Apart from the game against Hampshire, he's been pretty good.

I do question the overseas recruitment though. I understand that due to rescheduled tours players' availability has shifted, but what is the point in having Khan if he can only play when we've played half the games?

Decent start by the Sharks with 3 quick wickets.

Gloucestershire now 15-3 after 4.1 overs.
