Forgive me but who the :censored: is Brian Eno and Rob Wyatt???:lolol: :lolol:

Sounds like Country and Western music here which is a BIG no-no, but hey what do I know??

Can you imagine 'Sussex by the Sea' being a line-dance tune. Me thinks not.

we could get a mixture of singers that live in the county to join up ala band aid and do it.

That would be the Robert Wyatt who was a finalist in the Mercury music prize last week and the Brian Eno who was a member of Roxy Music and is leading producer: neither of them could even remotely be described as obscure.

Are you a Busted fan by any chance? :)

Not Country and Western :lolol:

Robert was originally the drummer in a band called Soft Machine, and since had hits with The Monkees "I'm A Believer" and Elvis Costello's "Shipbuiliding" and has recorded some excellent "left-field" albums, his most recent being Shleep and Cuckooland.

Eno was in Roxy Music originally, and has produced and recorded some fine albums.

And Gwylan and I are VERY old. If you were born in 1974 (as I assume you might be from your name) then you may not remember Soft Machine and Roxy Music.

In a pile of football shirts
"So What" was covered by Metallica, the line was

I've been to Brighton
And I've been Hastings
I've been to Eastbourne too
So What
So What
So What you boring little ****
Who cares
Who cares about you.

Was originally done by the Anti Nowhere League in the the early 80s.

Who did that dreadfull version of GOSBTS that they played before the Worthing pre season friendly this year?
