Signalling problems at Gatwick so some trains south from London (and vice-versa)are being cancelled. Hopefully won't affect too many Albion fans. Wouldn't it be nice if the railways could manage even one matchday without something going wrong...

National Rail enquiries site says 'Delays through Gatwick Airport expected until 13:30'. Doesn't look too major. Can only see two cancellations out of more than a dozen trains into Brighton (via East Croydon) between now and kick-off.

Fair enough. I was going by the Southern site which didn't put a time limit on it. Mind you, having sat for an hour on a train at Clapham this week which they originally said would be underway in 'the next couple of minutes', I don't have much faith in anything the train company says. When there are no more cancellations on the departure board, I'll believe them.

I've earmarked the 14:36 so fingers crossed it's ok by then otherwise Bonaparte's will be making a few quid off me at Victoria.
