don't get what you expect from the message board though as it had to be replaced in the great server melt down and all the messages are newer than the headers.

Looking at the headline in the bottom half of that page, it's not the Seagulls Server. That's the up to date official site!

I remember that site. Great days. Think I started using it at the end of 97. Never forget going onto some US baseball team's chatboard (Xmas 97 or 98) & ruining it. Everyone from NSC went on & they were totally bemused. Probably the funniest NSC episode ever

Loving it thanks mate. Weathers been a bit poor for the past few days. Averaging 17 during the day, and it even rained yesterday. Still, summer is not far away. How's the US?

Anyone remember what life was like before the following:

1) Mobiles

2) Decimalisation

3) The Industrial Revolution

4) The wheel?

Even I'm not old enough to remember pre-Industrial Revolution days, but I certainly remember life before mobiles, when making a phone call away from home involved a) having the right change and b) finding a phone box that wasn't vandalised.

And those days before decimal currency. When I started going to the Goldstone, admission was 6d.

I only discovered NSC in 2000, so I'm a newcomer. Still people of my age often have problems with the Internet.
