Mouldy. Do you shop at the farm stores in that little covered market, in Chi? Some good stuff there and reasonably priced. I do enjoy the Chichester market when it is on. Lovely stuff!

No we haven't tried their as we use to go to the farm shop at runcton.

But we now have our own allotment and grow most of the veg we eat (apologies mr veg shop owner) as we enjoy growing our own and you can't get it any fresher.

BOF get an allotment it is most rewarding and a good way to unwind after work.

As to Mouldy Boots' point about people saving money by shopping at the supermarket, the reverse is true. I save myself about a fiver each week by shopping at the market rather than Sainsbury's.

Sorry what i really mean't to say the average punter percieves the supermarket to be cheaper but we know there tricky sneeky marketing games eh Gwylan.

Not all supermarkets are bad...

In terms of the way they treat suppliers, yes they are. All of them. There is a cartel on supermarket trading, you know. Each one knows what the others are doing before they do it.

...and just cos its local does not make it good.

Maybe not always for some people, but in my experience - yes it does. Especially if you know where to shop.
