it only cost me around £50 last night - what a bargain. although this figure was greatly helped due to the lack of alcohol taken in

I hate to think. If I sat and worked it all out, I would frighten myself.

As much as that? I thought our food and drink intake last night was VERY small compared to usual. I'd say more £40.

£13 ticket
£21 petrol
£6 assorted stadium concesions
£4 doncaster santa hat
£4 assorted tescos lunch
£4 bp dinner

you probably spent less due to the fact you took far too many liberties with the sausage roll consumption. yesterdays was also helped by the fact the usual £20 on alcohol was not there, and nor was the two fast food restaurant stops

In a pile of football shirts
it can cost you a marriage if you go too often

It would cost me a marraige if I didn't go!!!

I guess, per season, something like;

Home

2 x replica shirts £80
Other club merchandise £25
2 x Season tickets £900
Home cup game tickets, say, £50
Home match programs, £80
Refreshments in the Pub, £400

Away
20 games approx, x 2 tickets each time, average price £20, £800
Refreshments, food etc £1000
Fuel, average journey say 300 miles round trip x 10 trips, £400
Train journeys, 10 trips, £400

Something like that.

I reckon Home Games
£15 match ticket
£6 fry up
£40 cider and beer

Away games (on average)
£18 match ticket
£35 train ticket
£3 Wetherspoons Farm House Breakfast
£5 8 pack of drink for train
£30 cider and beer in pub
£5 nearest fastfood place to train station
£7 taxi home

Home games £60 average
Away games £100 average

Home games £1400 ish a season
Away games £2300ish a season

One season £3700 - but every penny worth it

Finn Harps were costing me at least 80 euros a week for the end of the season there, but if I managed to be an Albion superfan it'd cost me thousands, and probably my job with all the time off...

I think Bretts figure of somewhere near £3,700 is about right.

Alot does depend on cup draws tho, the only time i have done every game in a season was 2004-05 and part of that was because we only had 2 cup games that season which was one at home and the other in london.

£70 a week isn't too bad if you consider how much you could spend just going out clubbing in Brighton

pretty acurate prices although can probably do a home game on 50 but have a few bets on which occasionally pay for the day

Money up front? I assume Leeds make money on those sold and only part with the money to the away team the week of the game. Suprised Albion haven't thought to do this to improve cashflow. hang on, no I'm not suprised at all.

How does it work? Surely they have to limit the number of away season tickets to the number of away seats available at the club with the lowest number? That would probably be us then with about 900?

If we introduced this system do Albion fans think there would be a good uptake?
