To be fair, I think most peoe don't read too much into what gus says....1 minute were very close...then it's a few days away....then we're not signing anyone then BAM, gus signs someone

Doubt it Huddersifled have already signed three centre mids (Clayton, Norwood, Southern) and also have Arfield, Robsinon, Gobern and Kay. So it wouldn't make much sense that one.
