In that case Bloom must have lost the plot if he thinks he will find anyone better than Slade who will come here with a budget of zero. I rally hope Bloom back tracks, phones up Stevie again before Hull sack Phil Brown and say you can have a Million in january, otherwise we are royally screwed

Given that SC knows our financial constraints from the first time he managed here, it does seem odd that he didn't enquire about the playing budget before verbally accepting the job.

Unless of course TB dangled a carrot before him, SC said yes, and then TB took the carrot away.
