Not going to try and predict just yet but I would be really (nearly typed deliriously) happy with a point each from Leeds and Sheff Utd, we are probably more than capable of beating Coventry and Burnley and possibly Leicester come to think of it. A lot depends on the first two games, pick something up from either or both of them and confidence will surely be high for the remainder.

A difficult month which will probably provide a fair indicator of how the season will pan out, I remain optimistic that by the beginning of October we will be somewhere around mid-table.

September matches:

Leeds United (away) - 1 point
Sheffield United (home) - 1 point
Coventry City (home) - 3 points
Burnley (away) - 0 points
Leicester City (away) - 1 point

6 points - that'll do for me!

Hmm. 4 points from these two matches is a difficult target, but still achievable.

Or to put it another way...

So far this season we have

Derby away - last year loss - turned into a point
Reading home - loss - loss
Crewe home loss - draw turned into a point
Hull away (no responding fixture but could swap with Sunderland) loss- loss
Preston away loss now -turned into a point
Plymouth home loss - turned into 3 points
Sheff Utd home draw - loss so lost a point
Coventry at home draw - draw

I still make us 5 points up on last year's corresponding fixtures.

I think Hull should be swapped with one of the relegated teams Yorkie! As they came 2nd in the league, you should swap them with the 2nd bottom team in our league - Forest. And we beat them.

Still, we're 2 points up

Depends which Leicester turn up and which Brighton turn up. Both good sides on their day.

Nice little unbeaten run!

Not quite the unbeaten run but our only defeat was against the team that is romping the league at the moment! :)
