Thanks BOF. I think it's unique, I have not seen any others of the construction site.

Fact: I don't live in Brighton

Fact: Lord Olivier lived and died in Brighton

Any connection between the two are purely fictional.

The average depth of the vagina in Brighton is 7 inches.
The average length of the penis in Brighton is 6 inches.

This means there is roughly a mile & a half of spare c*nt in Brighton.

Without the Marina there, the beach was protected from the prevailing south westerly wind. Boats could use the beach to ground themselves and unload their cargoes, mostly coal, which of course covered the beach in coal dust. The nice white chalk was made black, hence Black Rock.

Good knowledge sir!

No sir. Olivier died in Steyning which is in a different county altogether.

Sweet Hill 1978 is the only known train crash within the boundries of the conurbation. Emergency services sped up Snakey Hill origianally believing the crash to have occured at Mill Road Bridge.

The aquarium is the oldest working aquarium in the world.

And the Volks is the oldest working electrical railway in the world.

Hardly obsucre. Hove staged it's first BAGS meeting in 1982 and for almost 20 years had one BAGS meeting a week but now has three.

Urban myth or not I don't know, but when I was of school age I was told Hitler planned to use the Pavilion as his British base should he have invaded the UK, which Is why Brighton suffered less bombing in the war then other towns or cities. The fact that Bton had little strategic relevance to the German's is more likely the reason.

Brighton used to have the only football league ground in 2 different counties. The home stands at Withdean were in East Sussex and the away stand was in Cornwall :)

Brighton is home to the deepest hand dug well in the world.
Its as deep as as the empire state building is high.

Anyone know why the house (traveling east it's on the left hand side) on the coast road coming in to Peacehaven has MURDER HOUSE painted on it?

Oh and I've already guessed it might have something to do with a murder before we get to smart!
