Due to the limited number of subs, Gus likes players with versatility on the bench. It's why most people think Vincelot has been on the bench so often despite good performances. With that in mind, I don't see Reyes and Vincelot starting together, regardless of position, since they both offer so many options when on the bench.

Notwithstanding the above, why are so many people dropping Navarro whose return to the team has coincided with a run of 3 wins out of 4. Too many people playing Fifa 12 and the like.

I love how people put the back four down, Bridders and then three of the most offensive midfielders we have?!?! Don't make me laugh, we'd have no BALANCE. Poyet learnt from the Palace result that too many attacking players in midfield just doesn't work. Look at EVERY squad we've put out since. Bridcutt has always had support from another CM such as Sparrow/Navarro or someone in that mould.

If we played Bridcutt with Buckley, Noone AND Vicente we'd see goals, goals, goals all right - but in the wrong net.

442 with 2 attacking wingers and deeper centre mids. Ideally if they're fit I would start with Buckley and Vicente on the wings and bring Lua Lua and Noone on in the second half to roast their full backs when they're tiring.

Navarro would be very unlucky to be dropped and i dont think he will be as Gus seems to like him and he has done well recently but from what I have seen of Reyes so far I think he would fit really well in the middle with Bridcutt. I think hes wasted at full back.

Whatever team he picks I am really confident about this match but even if we win 5.0 I can guarantee that Cotterill will come out and say we were lucky!
