I bought my house from Wil Johnson, who's in some thing on the Beeb. I'd never heard of him but the staff in the estate agent were all crowding round a computer screen looking him up on t'internet when the missus went to collect the keys.

Waking the Dead is it? Summat like that anyway.

i grew up in the same street as mick jagger although he'd left home by then I saw him when he visited his parents

On the other hand, the comedian Arthur Smith lived close by too - I often saw him in my local.

Guess that could have been the Bedford Arms then ?
Used to see him in there and Ega (also on Bedford hill, and a previous known haunt of Wozza..) when it was still about..

It was, I lived about three minutes away from it. I didn't see him in Ega though, but then I hardly went there for fear of bumping into Wozza

As a nipper in Lower Bevendean, Eric Whittington lived 4 doors away ...

My old man bought a motor off him. It clapped out after two months.
