Star Wars stands head and shoulders above and will be the clear winner of this poll. Even the crapness of episodes 1 and 2 can't taint the rest of the series.

Star Trek suffers an image problem. In that it's perceived to be for geeks. Which is why no-one will vote for it. If you ignore the retards that dress up and learn klingon it's actually pretty good. 2 Basic rules. 1) Only watch the even numbered films. 1, 3, 5, and 9 suck. 2, 4, 6, 8, are good, the exception being 7 which is also good. 2) As far as the series go they all take a while to get going so skip season 1-3 of each and go straight to season 4.

Dr Who. Low budget, wobbly sets, bad acting, bad scrips, almost as geeky as star trek. Oh and Bonnie Langford.

One was a low budget BBCTV series.

The other started out as a low budget TV series then had american TV money thrown at it to make it look better than it was.

The other is are multi million pound cinema productions.

Not exactly a fair comparison is it you muppett.

Can remeber Peter Davidson, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy. Probably watched before then but would have been a bit young to recall. Only good thing was McCoy's sidekick Ace who I found quite horny.

I loved Doctor Who in the 70`s and aerly 80`s but I have to say Star Wars wins this by far.

In the later years a bit of both. Shame you missed some of the Baker or Pertwee classics. Or for that matter some of the early Hartnell and Troughton if you dont mind black and white.

Dont forget this is a series that has run for 40yrs with over 300 episodes and 100 stories so there is going to be some rubbish as well as some excellent episodes.

Star Wars has 6 movies and arguably 3 are utter cack despite all the money thrown at it! And it also had Battle for Endor.
