Personally I CAN'T STAND Star Trek nor Doctor Who.

Where is Babylon 5? Easily the best scifi series ofthe last 2 decades by a very long way.

I think its difficult to compare.

Star Wars is purely cinema, so there is always going to be more money spent of effects, set design etc.

Star Trek was numerous series and cinema films, and is the original "star" series.

Dr Who is almost mainly half hour TV, with an odd film from the 60's
