I can't see it happening to be honest.

They can say what they like in the presentation, but all the evidence suggests that the club's safety officer wants to enforce things to the letter of the law.
That would be funny if it wasn't so ridiculous. Is this the same 'safety officer' who 'allowed' every single Pompey fan to stand unchallenged for the whole 90 minutes last Saturday? If current history is anything to go by, the ONLY place at Falmer you'll be allowed to watch a game standing up will be the South Stand.

(Saints fan) If lots of you stand en masse then you should be fine. At SMS there's about 3,000 of us that stand in the Northam and we never have any real trouble with it. If there's enough of you standing then there's nothing the stewards can do.

I've seen them pick on the weakest looking one before and haul him out.

No bottle to do it to someone they think they'll have trouble with. Wankers.

Once the away fans stand (like they will) the stewards will have a tough time telling the North stand to sit. It will all sort it self out but standing behind the goals seems to happen everywhere so no reason why it will be any different for us.

They should get the stewards in that run the pdc darts at the Ally pally.

Those guys show a presence of authority at all times, which is totally respected, yet seem to merge into the background.

They let people have fun as long as it's not directly interfering with others enjoyment.

justa quick one. much prefer standing at the games (as we do away from home) just wondering wether this will be tolerated behind the goal (north stand) at falmer. or if anywhere? many thanks.

at the presentation martin perry was adamant that sitting was the only option. although he did add that standing at times or high drama (such as Glen Murray actualy staying onside) woukld be possible. But officially it will be ZERO TOLERANCE to continuous standing in seating areas.

Which to my way of thinking suggested that you stand up for any length of time, you will get ejected (thrown out) of the stadium. But short periods of standing will happen regardless
