Sri Lanka are 491-3 with about 50 overs left in day 2.

Sangakkara hit 219 and Paranavitana hit 100. M Jayawardene still out there on 83, supported by Samaraweera who is on 16.

Looks like another draw on it's way.

Well, if they amass 600+ runs then I can see India collapsing. However, no Murali so not sure SL will have the firepower. Sub continent pitches are doing their best to try and kill test cricket.

In a country of over a billion people, you would of thought the 'cricket mad' country of India would have been able to produce bowlers good enough of bowling any team out, on even the flatest of wickets!

There are lots of high score draws in Sub-Continent, it winds me up!

4 wickets and 737 runs in 2 days, ridiculous!

It's being played in Colombo. There have been 31 tests there and nine have been draws. That doesn't strike me as a particularly high percentage.

You may be thinking of grounds like Lahore, which has seen 22 out of its 41 test matches drawn - but even that is a 50/50 chance.

In also a country where most of the people can't afford bats or balls.

That is a massive load of bullshit. It doesn't even nearly make sense.

It will be interesting to see if the IPL does to Indian cricket what the Premier League has, some say, done to football in this country and stop local talent coming through.

After the bore draw of the previous test, the 3rd Test is nicely poised.

Sri Lanka 34 runs ahead with 8 wickets standing. With two whole days to go, there should be a result there and it's too close to call as to who will win. Certainly a better test than any of England's this summer

The last test was pretty good I thought. We did end up winning easily but we were 118-4, 60-odd for 5 in the second innings

It had its moments but it was too one-sided in the end. The SL/India match looks like being a decent game
