I have selected only current players and that is why the team only has 1 upfront. But that midfield should chip in with a fair few goals in the league below as long as we play more of a passing style.

Assuming we don't sign anybody else of course.

Of course.

I would make Dodd and Butts my defensive coaches.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Lets face it McGhee will know that to keep the 40% or so of fans that will fully back him, he will have to bring in 4 or 5 players.

At least it is (slightly) easier to bring players in when you are in League 1, AND not so many excuses to cart out.

Dead right, I thnk we will (oddly enough) find it much easier to get players in as we will be a slightly bigger fish in L1 (IF we go down!)

From what we've currently got:
----------Henderson----------
Reid---Hinsh--El-Abd---Lynch
Carole--Oatway--Hammond--Frutos
-----Kazim-Richards--Robinson-----

Possibly Mayo in for Lynch (I can see him being snapped up despite his new contract), I don't think many will be sold. Possibly Carole and Hinsh, but Carole hasn't reallly been consistent enough for anyone big to come in for him, and Hinsh has not played enoug games.

I would give
Kerry Mayo - 1 year
Richard Carpenter - Release
Charlie Oatway - 1 year
Guy Butters - 1 year
Gary Hart - 2 years
Chris McPhee - Release
Jason Dodd - Pay as you play
Alexis Nicolas - I'd give him a new contract and play him but it won't happen.
Mark McCammon - Release

I'd like to see Dennis Wise come in, not sure what his contract status is at Coventry and if they will keep him. And a striker, Kenwyne Jones could be the target man type we need, proven in League One, young, and probably available at the end of the season.

Mark McCammon - Pay as you play. He nor the club would go for it though.
